Halfway House by John Hood, September 1990 2502 Kingston Road at Midland Avenue, Scarborough Built as an inn at the corner of Kingston Road and what is now Midland Avenue, Half Way House was a rural stage coach stop half way between the village of Dunbarton and the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto. The building served many purposes before being moved to Black Creek Pioneer Village in 1965.
