Electrohome Mural
Electrohome was founded in Kitchener in 1907 by Arthur B. Pollock aided by Alec Welker to manufacture wind-up hornless phonographs. Illustrated in the mural are a broad range of historical products including home entertainment, furniture, air moving appliances, motors and service. The mural is intended to celebrate Electrohome's history and future in this community, its major contribution to the growth of the area (known as the technology triangle) and the company's genesis in a carriage shed in "Busy Berlin."
