The artist, Hélène Fleury, was asked to create a mural based on the theme The Latin Quarter, at the heart of cultural creation. She chose to express it by highlighting the aspirations and ambitions of young people as well as the neighborhood’s history of literature and education (example: CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal, UQAM, Bibliothèque Nationale).
