Grand Trunk Union Station by Robin Burgesse, 1996 Lumber barons owned their own railway lines before 1900: later merged to form the Grand Trunk with a main station in Pembroke, 1905-14. 1923-1960 the system which incorporated many private lines was known as the Canadian National Railway.
