2002 Bicentennial

Inaugurated in August 2002
Dimensions : 60 ft large x 35 ft high

This mural is a wink, as if time had stopped one day in 1902, exactly the 2nd of June, at 2 p.-m. It is an imaginary representation, a novel like version of certain facts, some historical, some totally invented, at the corner of Commercial and Factory streets (today’s Dufferin and Frontenac). The characters have been set in acts of everyday life, where people of the business community, of politics and ordinary folks of another time are honored, a memory of yesteryears ever present.
