CHLT-TV 50 Years Our Mirror Inaugurated September 1st, 2006 Dimensions: 120 ft wide x 35 ft high (2382 sq.ft) 222, Frontenac Street CHLT-TV celebrates its 50th birthday, this year (2006) On September 1st, 2006, another architectural mural was unveiled, bringing to six the number of murals in the city tour of the organisation M.U.R.I.R.S. It is titled « CHLT-TV, 50 ans à notre image » (“50 years our mirror”). This anniversary gave us the unique opportunity to star a great number of artists of our region’s cultural community, TV personalities, others from the visual arts , dance, music and many others who made their marks locally, some even internationally. Here you may recognize some renowned figures and discover some others. This painting shows a gala of 50 years of cultural history, highlighting the guest stars, on the red carpet, at the entrance to an imagined hall, painted here on a real wall of the « Séminaire de Sherbrooke ».
