The second mural on the corner of King East and Bowen South, with a total surface of 4644 square feet. Animated with the same spirit as its neighbouring predecessor, this mural also represents life in the East End, this time at the end of the 19th century. Here, you can see Sherbrooke, a manufacturing city, opening up to the new technologies of the upcoming century: electricity, residential telephone, tramway, automobile, aviation and daily newspapers. The artists have also depicted some well known and less known characters of Sherbrooke’s East End. |
