Along the Fifth Artist: Wei Luan, Edmonton, AB Size: 1100 sq. ft. 1997 Since 1900, Stony Plain has grown into a thriving and active community “along the fifth” Meridian. The coming of the railway has impacted Stony Plain in many ways. It prompted the re-location of the original town site, contributed to improved communication, and led to flourishing local business enterprises and the establishment of trade. The mural highlights the many events and some of the people who have contributed to our community’s rich heritage.
