The CIBC has been a focal point for Trade and Commerce in Stony Plain for over 100 years. CIBC began serving clients out of a tent in 1906. Overtime, the needs of customers grew from fur and gold exchange to financial advice, convenience and service. This mural depicts the evolution of banking in our community and highlights some of the more prominent faces of the Stony Plain CIBC.
